To whom it may concern
I understand that an opening has arisen in Colorado for your organization as an Area Rep. As a person who has studied abroad over the summer of 2009 in Europe, I grasp the gravity of the opportunities your organization provides to students and feel I would be extremely comfortable working under this position in your company.
As a graduate with a 3.4 GPA and AP courses in my last year, I have proven myself as a capable student with an increasing self-image and goal setting aptitude. I enjoy knowing that experiences such as the ones your organization provides, motivate students to bring out the best in themselves and expect the best of themselves and others. I feel that my dedication to my studies in these past years, when applied to your organization, would be a great complement to you and bring about a better experience for your clients.
Considering I held an advisory position within the gaming club held at my high school, I feel such an experience would aid me in my ability to act as a true representative of not only your organization but the clients to which I may be assigned. This along with my studies of foreign languages such as French, Italian, and Spanish, will give me an edge when speaking with the clients, as the language barriers that would exist naturally between the client and their host family could be softened with a little aid on my behalf. I feel that my continued study of the alternate cultures to which your organization focuses, could procure a far easier transition for the exchange students and thusly make their experience as a whole, less stressful.
I thank you for considering me for the position of Area Rep. I also thank you for adding Colorado to your list of areas to which you would bring foreign exchange students. Feel free to contact me via my email: s.ch1m3ra@gmail.com if you have any further questions. Enclosed are my resume and application for your position. Thanks again.
Sincerely
Dalton Brumbaugh
