Mr. Mozer
Spanish Instructor
Roosevelt High School
Johnstown, CO 80537
Dear Mr. Mozer,
As we have discussed at various times over this school year, I am planning to apply for scholarships in order to make my experiences in the University of Wyoming as financially sound as possible. I would appreciate it if you wrote up a recommendation letter for me and possibly either emailed it to me, or given me a copy for scanning and submission purposes. Due to my presence in your Spanish classes since 2008, I figured you would be the best candidate to attest to my growth in academia and attest to my ability to earn the scholarships I gain for the engineering field.
As my Spanish instructor for three years, you have become familiar with my imaginative, unique personality and the aspects of my work ethic, study habits, and willingness to work with a variety of concepts. I think you would have a great sense of my personality as a whole as both a student and a person, you would know if I could be successful or not. I am asking a recommendation of you because I have been actively seeking out scholarships and financial aid capable of aiding me in focusing solely on my studies in college. Having recently been awarded with a certificate in regard to my 4.12 GPA last semester and also earned a solid A in your course for many semesters; I feel that if I could focus solely on college, I could quickly attain a Bachelor’s degree in the engineering field and just as quickly be hard at work in the engineering field.
Please send your letter to me by hand, or by email at s.ch1m3ra@gmail.com as soon as you can, as some of the deadlines will be arriving in very short order. Thank you for your time, patience, and great teaching; I really appreciate all of it. Feel free to contact me using the above email address or (970)576-2295 if you have any questions or need any more information.
Sincerely,
Dalton Brumbaugh
